Admiral Blake’s Fish Bar Has Been Sold Thanks to Kings Business

Kings Business are pleased to announce the sale of this popular fish and chip shop in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Positioned in a prominent trading position in the heart of this historic town, this popular restaurant and takeaway service receives a substantial amount of interest and custom.

Established over 57 years ago, this historic business was successfully operated by the previous vendor, Rodney Ingram.

The highly experienced vendor expertly directed the business, consolidating its rightful place at the centre of this market town.

Appropriately named after the locally born historical figure, Admiral Blake, this popular chip shop has generated a large client base.

The town of Bridgwater is very popular with tourists, and this historic chip shop is no different. The shop receives a great deal of passing trade from tourists.

The shop also benefits from a significant amount of repeat custom from local residents.

The vendor reached the decision that it was time for them to retire, having achieved everything that they had set out to achieve within this popular fish and chip shop.

They decided it was time for a new operator to take control of the business, and they approached the expert brokerage service of Kings Business to handle the sale of this reputable business.

Kings Business were privileged to place this historic business onto the market.

Once it was placed onto the market, the fish and chip shop subsequently generated a considerable amount of interest.

After receiving 15 viewings and 4 generous offers, the business was acquired by Mr Tony Kesterton.

Tony Kesterton owns a series of other businesses and has previous experience within the café industry. They also have a large amount of management experience operating other businesses.

This historic chip shop made a significant impression on Tony. He loved the business, and the location and the outstanding reputation of the business were influencing factors for his acquisition of the chip shop.

Since taking control of the fish and chip shop, he wishes to continue the high standards that the business’ clientele is accustomed to, and he wishes to grow the business further.

The vendor, Rodney Ingram commented;

“I was delighted with the sale I made through Kings Business. Adam Dell’Armi was the negotiator dealing with the transaction and he kept in touch with me on a regular basis.”

“He showed professionalism, empathy and understanding and although the process of sale was lengthy, he was able to assure me until completion”.

The buyer, Tony Kesterton commented;

“I am thrilled to be the proud new owner of Admiral Blake’s Fish Bar. I dealt with Adam Dell’Armi primarily through the transaction who guided me in a calm and professional manner to the completion with regular updates.”

“I really appreciate the support that Kings Business provided with my purchase.”

Lead Negotiator, Adam Dell’Armi commented;

“A great sale completed, and I am genuinely delighted to be able to help our client to reach a happy retirement.”

“I look forward to seeing the Admiral Blake continuing its successful story under its new owners.”
